Position Summary: Operation HOPE is seeking an experienced and dynamic Vice President of Branding and Creative Production to lead and manage our branding and creative initiatives across marketing, partnerships, and programs. This senior-level position will be responsible for developing and executing our organization's overall branding strategy, managing creative production workflows, and ensuring the consistency of our brand identity across all touchpoints.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in branding, design management, creative direction, and team leadership. This role requires a strategic thinker who can work collaboratively across departments and manage design and creative teams, ensuring high-quality, impactful marketing assets for both internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities: - Brand Strategy & Management:
- Lead the development, management, and evolution of the Operation HOPE brand, ensuring consistency across all marketing materials, campaigns, and communications.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to define brand vision, objectives, and positioning, aligning with organizational goals.
- Manage the creation and development of sub-brands and brand architecture, ensuring a cohesive identity across all platforms and initiatives.
- Create and maintain comprehensive brand guidelines, ensuring adherence across internal and external creative production teams.
- Creative Production Leadership:
- Oversee and manage the production of marketing assets for various channels including web, social media, email campaigns, print, events, and partnerships.
- Manage and collaborate with in-house design teams and external agencies to ensure the timely and high-quality production of creative assets.
- Lead the creative direction for key initiatives, guiding teams to develop visually compelling, on-brand assets that resonate with target audiences.
- Ensure that all creative materials reflect Operation HOPE's mission, vision, and values while maintaining brand integrity.
- Digital Asset Management (DAM) and Tools Administration:
- Oversee the implementation, management, and optimization of the organization's Digital Asset Management (DAM) system.
- Provide training, best practices, and ongoing support to staff on using the DAM system effectively, ensuring efficient asset organization, retrieval, and sharing.
- Evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies that can improve the efficiency of creative production workflows and asset management.
- Team Leadership & Development:
- Manage, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of designers, creative professionals, and other creative staff.
- Foster a collaborative, creative, and productive team culture that inspires innovation and excellence in all creative work.
- Provide leadership in the development of professional growth opportunities and performance management for team members.
- Cross-Department Collaboration:
- Work closely with marketing, partnerships, and programs teams to understand project needs and ensure the creative vision aligns with organizational objectives.
- Support routine marketing campaigns, working alongside other departments to ensure the timely and successful execution of digital content, advertising, and promotional materials.
- Collaborate with other departments on key initiatives, helping to bring creative concepts to life that advance the goals of Operation HOPE.
- Brand Advocacy & Stakeholder Engagement:
- Act as the internal advocate for the brand, ensuring all employees and stakeholders understand and align with the brand's mission and values.
- Develop and communicate the vision for the brand across all levels of the organization, including training staff on brand standards and creative processes.
- Represent the brand in external stakeholder engagements, helping to promote Operation HOPE's impact and programs through compelling creative materials.
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- 10+ years of experience in branding, creative production, or marketing, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Proven experience managing branding and creative teams, including the ability to lead, mentor, and develop design professionals.
- Extensive experience with digital asset management systems and creative production workflows.
- Expertise in design software (Adobe Creative Suite, etc.), DAM systems, and relevant marketing platforms.
- Strong understanding of brand architecture, visual identity systems, and brand guidelines development.
- Experience working across multiple marketing channels (digital, social media, email, print) and creating assets for diverse formats.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments and with external partners.
