About the Role The Company is seeking an experienced Vice President of Field Sales to spearhead its Enterprise Sales Team. This remote leadership position is crucial for driving strategic growth across a diverse client portfolio, focusing on expanding wallet share, securing high-value agreements, and delivering customized lodging and expense solutions to national and multi-site enterprises. The successful applicant will oversee a team of 7-10 Field Sales Executives, mentoring them in long-cycle deal strategies, engaging C-level stakeholders, and utilizing value-based selling approaches.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and executing strategic plans to penetrate large, complex accounts.
- Monitoring and enhancing team performance.
- Ensuring a seamless transition from sale to delivery for enterprise clients.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A minimum of 6 years of enterprise B2B sales leadership experience.
- A proven track record managing high-performing sales teams.
- Expertise in long-cycle, complex deal management with C-level engagement.
- Experience in industries featuring decentralized or traveling workforces is beneficial.
The role demands a deep understanding of enterprise buying processes, solution selling methodologies, and the ability to coach team members in consultative and strategic sales tactics. Proficiency in sales operations, forecasting, pipeline management, and CRM best practices (preferably with Salesforce) is required. Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and organizational abilities are essential, along with a passion for team success, operational efficiency, and continuous learning.
