Job Summary

• The Surgical Services Assistant is a member of the healthcare team who performs a variety of technical and supportive duties to assist the surgical team during the patient s perioperative phase of care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.

Job Requirements

• Education

  • Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent OR 1 year customer service experience

• Experience

  • Preferred : Previous hospital and/or medical experience

• Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Exhibits valuable time management skills

  • Strong analytical/problem solving skills

  • Flexibility and ability to work in a multi-tasking environment

• Licensure/Certification/Registration

  • Required: BLS must be obtained within 90 days and maintained throughout employment
