Facility in York, PA seeking General Surgery NP locums coverage Rates: $140/hr Assignment Details
  • Start Date: May 1, 2025
  • Schedule: Monday Friday, 7am 3pm
  • Shifts/Month: Up to 20 shifts; minimum 2 weeks/month required
  • Call: Yes Beeper call with 30-minute response time
  • EMR: Epic
Role Responsibilities
  • Floor Management:
      • Daily patient rounds
      • Writing progress notes, placing orders
      • Discharges and care coordination
  • Dressing changes, drain/NGT removal

  • Consults & Admissions:
      • ER consults and admissions
      • Comprehensive evaluation and operative planning
  • Documentation and order entry

  • First Assist OR Cases:
      • Assisting in open, laparoscopic, and robotic general surgery cases
  • Pre- and post-operative care coordination
Requirements
  • Board Certified NP or PA Required
  • 2+ years of General Surgery experience Required
  • Pennsylvania License & DEA Required
  • BLS/CPR Required
  • Experience as first assist in surgery Required
  • Local candidates preferred, travel considered for exceptional candidates
