Locums - Stevens Point, Wisconsin, NP/PA General Surgery Opening Clinical Role:

•  Hours are negotiable within reason. Current state start seeing patients at 730am clinically and last clinic patient would be scheduled at 330pm. Inpatient is scattered in throughout the day
•  This need is for a mid-level coverage of clinic outpatient Wound Clinic
•  Clinic is scheduled Monday to Thursday
•  Does need the ability to see inpatients in hospital for wound consults
•  Be able to do outpatient clinic-based procedures
•  No Call
•  No MD on site on a consistent basis. We do have a casual MD who is just starting at Wound Care
•  Other support staff are two full time RNs, 1 casual RN and 1 casual MA
•  Our hospital is level III trauma certified
•  No trauma specific calls would occur
•  We are not a burn unit
•  Outpatient: 95%/inpatient: 5%
•  Patient volume will start slow during onboarding and settling in. Plan would be 12-16 outpatient per day. Inpatient volume varies daily/weekly
•  BLS Required
•  EMR: Epic
