We are seeking a skilled Pediatric Otolaryngology/ENT Surgeon for a locum tenens position at a Hospital in Arkansas. This 96-day assignment starts on 06/23/2025, with a Monday to Thursday schedule from 8 AM to 5 PM. The ideal candidate will split their time between clinic and operating room duties, with two days in each setting per week. The physician will be responsible for managing a wide range of pediatric ENT conditions, including ear infections, hearing loss, nasal congestion, and deviated septums, as well as performing ear surgeries and other ENT procedures. This role offers an opportunity to work in both clinical and surgical settings, providing comprehensive care to pediatric patients with ENT issues.

Job Responsibilities and Duties:


• Diagnose and treat various pediatric ENT conditions in the clinic setting


• Perform ear surgeries and other ENT procedures in the operating room


• Manage cases such as ear infections, swimmer's ear, hearing loss, and ruptured eardrums


• Treat nasal conditions including congestion, allergic rhinitis, foreign bodies, and nosebleeds


• Conduct pre- and post-operative consultations and follow-ups


• Provide 24-hour post-operative observation when needed


• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams


• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records using Epic EHR system


• Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and safety protocols


• Provide patient and family education on ENT conditions and treatments


• Participate in quality improvement initiatives as required


Additional Information:


• Must be licensed to practice medicine in Arkansas


• Experience with Epic electronic health record system preferred


• Strong clinical and surgical skills in pediatric otolaryngology


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team


• Comfortable with both clinic and operating room responsibilities


• Flexibility to manage a diverse range of pediatric ENT cases


• Possibility of assignment extension beyond the initial 96 days
