Job Opportunity: Neurosurgeon in Saginaw, MI
Join a thriving multidisciplinary neuroscience team in Saginaw, Michigan. We are seeking a full-time Neurosurgeon with a focus on neuroendovascular training to contribute to our expanding program within a 650-bed hospital and Level II Trauma Center.
Job Responsibilities:
- Join a robust and expanding neurosciences program.
- Collaborate with 3 neurosurgeons and 4 medical neurologists, supported by neuroradiologists and physiatrists.
- Perform a variety of neurosurgical procedures, specializing in neuroendovascular surgery.
- Manage a high-volume emergency department with 100,000 visits annually.
- Work in a dedicated 10-bed Neurotrauma Critical Care Unit.
- Collaborate in a Primary Stroke Center aiming for Comprehensive Stroke Center designation.
- Utilize advanced neuroimaging and surgical technology.
- Participate in stroke rehabilitation with a joint venture hospital, incorporating neuropsychology services.
- Engage in medical education and mentorship opportunities.
- Deliver care in a physician-led culture focused on collaboration and patient-centered outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurological Surgery.
- MD or DO degree.
- Proven expertise in performing neurosurgical procedures.
- Fellowship training or experience in neuroendovascular surgery is highly preferred.
- Active Michigan license or in the process of obtaining one.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurological Surgery.
- Active Michigan Medical License (or evidence of applying for one).
