Surgical Oncologist Opportunity in Rochester, New York Location: Rochester, NY Position Details: Employment Type: Full-Time Position Type: Permanent Practice Type: Surgical Oncology Schedule: Shared call rotation (surgical oncology only, no general surgery call) Job Description: Seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Surgical Oncologist to join a highly collaborative team in Rochester, New York. This role offers the opportunity to practice a broad spectrum of complex surgical oncology while working alongside experienced specialists at the Cancer Institute, an accredited Commission on Cancer program. Practice Highlights: Comprehensive Case Mix: Foregut, hepato-pancreato-biliary, melanoma, sarcoma, and breast surgery. Multidisciplinary Team: Collaborate with two dedicated Surgical Oncologists, two Breast Surgeons, and skilled Advanced Practice Providers. Innovative Programs: Contribute to the development of the region s first Hyperthermic Intraperitoneal Chemotherapy (HIPEC) program. Advanced Technology: Access state-of-the-art equipment, including the da Vinci Surgical System for robotic-assisted, minimally invasive procedures. Call Schedule: Participate in a shared, manageable call pool focused exclusively on surgical oncology (no general surgery call required).
