Facility: Hospital offering a wide range of healthcare services, including emergency care, cancer treatment, heart services, surgical care, maternal and child health, and behavioral health services.
Opportunity: - Looking for Trauma Service APP (PA or NP) Coverage. Candidate should not have just critical care experience, must have Trauma
- Schedule/Availability Requirements:
- June 5-6 and June 17-21
- July and Aug all month, looking for 7 on/7 off preferably
- PM shift (3 p.m. to 1 a.m.)
- May be some 6a-4p shifts, new locums cannot work those shifts in the beginning as there is not much support on those shifts
- Setting: Level II Trauma Center
- Required Procedures: Low/moderate risk procedures such as laceration repair, IV access/IV insertion-peripheral line, fracture and dislocation reductions (minimal/moderate displacement). High risk procedures: G-tube placement, endotracheal intubation, cardioversion/defibrillation, LMA, paracentesis, chest tubes, central and arterial line placement.
- EMR: Cerner Care B
- Support Staff: There will be one other Trauma NP/PA who works day shift (7a-5p).
