This role is ideal for an APP comfortable workingautonomously in high-acuity trauma and emergency situations.

Duties& Scope of Practice - Provide care for trauma and surgical patients in inpatient and emergency settings.
- Perform required low-to-high risk procedures:
- Low/Moderate Risk Procedures:
- Laceration repair
- IV access/insertion (peripheral line)
- Fracture and dislocation reductions (minimal/moderate displacement) - High Risk Procedures:
- Gastrostomy tube placement
- Endotracheal intubation
- Cardioversion/defibrillation
- Laryngeal mask airway (LMA) placement
- Paracentesis
- Chest tube placement
- Central and arterial line placement
Requirements - Certification: NCCPA (PA) or ANCC (NP) Certified
- Licensure: Active California License
- Certifications Required:
- ACLS
- ATLS
- DEA
