Coverage Needed:

  • June 2025 - ongoing
  • Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7 am - 3:30 pm clinic/OR & 24-hour call
    • All of June & July 2025
  • Weekend & On Call Requirements

Clinical Details:

  • Practice Setting: Office/Hospital/OR/Rounding
  • Call Schedule: After office hours and weekends
  • Number of Operating Rooms: 1
  • Documentation System/EMR: Epic
  • Patient Age Demographic: Adult 18+
  • Scope of Services Required: Adult Cardiac Surgery, General Thoracic Surgery
  • Required Procedures:
    • Aortic Surgery: Descending Aortic Aneurysms
    • Coronary Artery Bypass: CABG, Redo Coronary Revascularization(With or Without Heart Valve Surgery), Arterial Revascularization(Using Internal Mammary Arteries, Radial Artery and Gastroepiploic Artery), Pericardial Window, Tube Thoracostomy, Thoracic aortic aneurysms
    • Thoracic Endoscopy: Flexible and Rigid Bronchoscopy, Thoracotomy Lung Resections and Pneumonectomy, Chest Wall Resection and Reconstruction, Mediastinal Surgery
    • Vascular Surgery: Heart Valve Repair/Replacement Surgery, Heart Valve Replacement Without Surgery (CoreValve System), Mitral Valve Repair

Requirements:

  • Board Certification (American Board of Thoracic Surgery)
  • Active VA license & DEA
  • BLS/ACLS
  • Fellowship Training
  • Case Logs
  • Availability for June & July 2025 Coverage
