Surgery - General Nurse Practitioner

Locums - Portland, Maine, NP/PA Cardiovascular Opening
Clinical Role:

•   Length of Coverage: 3-6 Months
•   Looking for an Inpatient Locums Cardiovascular Surgery APP to fill their need
•   The candidate will work four 10-12-hour days per week if assigned to the OR and three 12-13-hour shifts if assigned to the ICU
•   The ICU does include overnights in-house
•   The provider will have a 1 in 4 or 5 weekend responsibility. (On call from 6p Friday to 6a Monday)
•   Surgical call responsibility: 1-2 weekdays per week from 6P-6A
•   Volume of Cardiac Surgery Division: 7 adult surgeons and 32 APPs; 1,600 pump cases are handled per year; Perform all cardiac surgery procedures except transplant
•   Candidate working at one/multiple locations/settings: one location only

•   Credentialing Estimate: Immediately and would push for emergency credentials
•   Board Certified - Required
•   Active ME License or Active IMLC - Required
