Trauma/Critical Care Surgery Opening - Phoenix, AZFQHCAbout the Opening:
- Full-time, permanent position
- Immediate need for a Trauma Surgeon/Surgical Intensivist/Acute Care Surgeon
- A community hospital with a State and American College of Surgeons designated Level 1 Trauma and Burn Center in the metropolitan Phoenix area.
- The Department is seeking a fellowship trained surgeon to complete team and provide a full range of surgical services.
- Requirements include demonstrated skills in emergency surgery, surgical critical care, trauma patient care, and a record of teaching and research experience (health services, translational or basic science research).
- The Trauma Surgeon reports directly to the Chief of Trauma, and the Chair of the Department of Surgery.
- Candidate requirements include an M.D. or D.O. from an accredited school of medicine or osteopathy, as well as the completion of a surgical residency and a surgical critical care fellowship.
Requirements- Applicants must be board certified or board eligible by the American Board of Surgery in general surgery and surgical critical care.
