Position Details:

• Start Date: As soon as credentialed
  
• Coverage Needs: Flexible

Shift Details:

• Call Coverage: 6 days per month
  • Call Nights: 5 PM to 7 AM
  • Day Shifts: 6 AM to 2 PM (with approval for 12-hour shifts)
• Specific Dates for Coverage:
  • July: 2, 3, 5, 7, 10, 16, 17, 19, 20, 21, 23, 24
  • August: 7, 9, 10, 11, 13, 14, 16, 17, 18, 20, 21, 27
• Weekend 24-hour Call Option: Available
• Weekday Shifts:
  • Day Shift: 6 AM to 2 PM (or 12-hour shift with approval)
  • Night Shift: 7 PM to 7 AM (or 5 PM to 7 AM on weekends)
• Other Shifts:
  • Days: 6/6:30 AM to 3 PM (must be flexible)
  • IPCN: Monday - Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with evening and weekend call rotation

Responsibilities:

• Ortho Trauma Surgery Call Coverage: Provide comprehensive care including consultations, post-operative care, and 24-hour Emergency Department support
• Patient Volume: Approximately 20 patients per day
• Support Team: 1 Physician Assistant, 1 Registered Nurse
• EMR: Eclinical Works

Requirements:

• Certifications: ACLS or ATLS (at least one required)
• License: Active and unrestricted state license
• Experience: Previous experience in orthopedic trauma surgery
• Skills: Strong clinical skills in trauma and emergency care, ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Additional Details:

• Level 1 Trauma Center: Must be comfortable with high-acuity patients and a fast-paced environment
• No Clinic Work: This position focuses on hospital and surgical care
