LOCUM General Surgeon APP 127000: Southeast, Michigan Specialty: Surgical Services APPClinic, Call, or Both:Inpatient, no call.Holiday required, only if it falls on the weekly rotationSchedule:7 on/7 off; 6p-6aMonday - SundayBegin 7 on/7 off rotation, ASAP-7/2025This need is on-goingCases/Procedures:Manage inpatient admissions and consults for trauma, general surgery and urologyRespond to level I and level II trauma's, perform admissions/H&P/ConsultsActing as hospital wide first call for all inpatient surgical services (general surgery, trauma, ortho, urology, colorectal)Proficient in suturing, central lines, art lines, and tube placementEvaluate general surgical & trauma consults/admissions and discuss with on call general surgeonBoard any surgical casesUrology admissions/consults/board cases for surgeryTroubleshoot foley catheters/troubleshoot continuous bladder irrigation/assist with set up for bedside procedure if surgeon is neededProctoring- Minimum 5 per procedureRequired experience, training, and certifications: ACLS & ATLSCase Logs: 50 cases within 12 monthsLicenses: Must have MI licenseCredentialing Timeframe: Typically 30 daysBecome an ICON: Never worry about your travel accommodations again.
