Trauma Surgery/Surgical Critical Care Locum needed at a Level II Trauma Center in Michigan this summer:
  • Must be Board Certified or Eligible in Surgical Critical Care to be considered
  • Weekend Call Coverage only (7am Friday-7am Monday) for Trauma, General and Trauma/Acute Care Surgery Service
  • Rounding on all admitted patients for Trauma and Acute Care Surgery Service
  • 9am - 12pm rounds on Saturday and Sunday. Census can vary 15 - 20 patients.
  • Required to respond to all Code 1 Trauma activations within 15 minutes
  • EPIC EMR /Dragon Dictation
  • Drivable from major airports, plenty of lodging options
  • Paid Travel

  • Competitive on-call and call back rates

  • 6/13: Orientation

  • -
  • One weekend per month beyond that dates TBD
  • EPIC/Dragon

    Requirements:

    • Board Eligible/Certified in Surgical Critical Care
    • ACLS Certification
    • MI License or IMLC
    • 50 patients (surgical or consultative) in the last 12 months
    • Credentialing timeframe is typically 30 days
