Provider can start Friday or Monday. In house call from 7-5 during the day, otherwise call can be outside of the hospital with a 15 minute response time. Hospital is looking for 24/7 call coverage for a 5-7 day stretch twice a month. Midlevel assistance during the day, 7 days a week is provided. No office hours, all hospital based. Hospital is an adult level 2 trauma center with a required 15 minute response for level 1 trauma codes and 60 minutes for level 2 trauma codes. The number of trauma/acute care surgery admissions is variable from 3-8 in a 24 hour period. Daily rounding can be variable from 12-25 patients to round on, although there is midlevel assistance 7 days/week.
