Surgery - Vascular Nurse Practitioner

Position Details:

• Location: Louisiana
• Duration: November Ongoing
• Schedule: Full-time, Monday Friday
• Start at 5:30 a.m. if there s a case, or 6:30 a.m. if not
• Typically finish around 3:00 p.m., though this may vary with volume
• Call: Every other night/weekend
• Patient Volume: 2 cases per day + hospitalized patients and consults (usually no more than 10)
• Scope: APP-CTS and APP-CVS, endoscopic vein harvesting, rounding, 1st assist in surgery, clinic, ECMO, VAD
• EMR Systems: EPIC in clinic, Meditech for hospital (Terumo vein harvesting equipment)
• Hospital: Level 1 trauma center with full support staff
