Facility in Harrisburg, PA seeking Neurosurgery PA-c locums coverage Rates: $170/hr Position Details: - Specialty: Neurological Surgery (NP/PA)
- Start Date: October 28, 2024
- Schedule: Part-time; Day shifts, 8am-4:30pm
- Duties: Rounding on existing patients, surgical site checks, managing drains, ICP monitors, ICU daily notes, surgical assisting (optional).
- Shifts per Month: Estimated 15 shifts
- On Call: No
Practice Information: - Patient Mix: 100% Adult patients
- Common Cases: Stroke, Intracerebral Hemorrhage (ICH), back/neck pain
- Procedures: Laminectomy, fusions, craniotomy, thrombectomy, burr holes
- Support: The candidate will communicate with surgeons and other APPs, handling in-basket messages and assisting in surgery if comfortable.
Requirements: - Board Certified/Board Eligible REQUIRED
- State License: Pennsylvania (No pre-existing license required)
- Certifications: BLS, CPR REQUIRED
- Experience: Minimum 2 years
