Reconstructive Microsurgery Opportunity in Grand Rapids, MIPosition Details:

  • Recruiting two new physicians to develop a Reconstructive Microsurgery section
  • Provide specialized care for patients needing breast reconstruction, head and neck reconstruction, limb salvage, lymphedema care, and extended oncologic reconstruction
  • Ideal candidates should have fellowship training in reconstructive microsurgery and be comfortable collaborating with fellowship-trained oncologic breast surgeons
  • Expected to also provide general plastic surgical care services
  • Participate in resident education and help facilitate resident learning in microsurgical competence
  • Academic appointment through Michigan State University College of Human Medicine, with the potential to advance as Residency Associate Program Director

  • Qualifications:
  • Medical Degree (MD or DO)
  • Board-eligible or Board-certified in Plastic Surgery
