Findlay, Ohio, Vascular Surgeon JobClinical Role:Seeking a full-time Vascular Surgeon to help shape a high-quality, community-focused vascular program in Northwest Ohio. This is a unique opportunity to lead program growth, manage diverse cases, and enjoy schedule flexibility with strong clinical support - all while making a meaningful impact in a collaborative, patient-centered environmentShift Description: The schedule includes 2 clinic days and 3 procedural days per weekWeekend Requirements: Weekend call is included in the 10 night/weekend shifts per month. Specific weekend shifts may be scheduled based on the overall call scheduleOn Call Requirements: Call coverage for 10 night/weekend shifts per month (this does not include daytime coverage)Establish and lead a community-based vascular surgery program Provide advanced vascular surgical care, including Abdominal and thoracic aneurysmal disease, Carotid artery disease, Hemodialysis access, Peripheral vascular disease and limb salvagePerform both open and endovascular proceduresManage vascular conditions with medical therapy, lifestyle modification, and non-surgical interventionsMaintain a weekly schedule of:2 clinic days3 procedural/surgical daysTake 10 night/weekend call shifts per month (does not include daytime coverage)Share call responsibilities with A PRN vascular surgeon, A vascular surgery APP, and An OSU vascular surgeon (phone support only)Supervise advanced practice provider(s) involved in vascular care deliveryWork collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment with cardiology, interventional radiology, and other specialties.Participate in the development and future expansion of the program, including, Recruitment of an additional vascular surgeon and APP by end of 2027 and Transition to a hybrid operating room (construction planned to complete by 2027)Deliver patient-centered care in a high-quality, community-focused settingEducate and counsel patients and families on treatment options, wellness, and disease preventionMaintain responsive and open communication with referring physiciansParticipate in institutional service activities at the department, college, and medical center levelsServe as a preceptor and provide training to Medical students, Residents, Fellows, Nursing staff, and Allied health professionalsOpportunity for program leadership based on experience and interestReceive a clinical faculty appointment (Assistant or Associate Professor) with The Ohio State University; role is 100% clinical and based in Findlay, Ohio (non-academic site)REHABILITATION, CARDIAC AND VASCULAR SERVICES:Stress Echo, DOBUTamine Stress EchoCardiolite Treadmill Stress Test, Lexiscan Cardiolite Stress Test, Treadmill EKG Stress Test EKG, Transesophageal echocardiogram (TEE) Cardiac Catheterization, Vascular Testing, Cardiac Rehabilitation Nuclear Medicine, Emergency Cardiac Care Allow RecruitWell to set up a phone call with you and the client to discuss more.Organization:Competitive salary range based on experience and training (to be discussed at interview)Group goals focused on quality, operations and productivity and determined by Division DirectorPotential to earn annual bonus up to $75K based on scorecard metrics to be established by the Division director at OSUWMC One-time signing bonus of $50,000Relocation stipend up to $15,000176 hours of vacation time per year with a 240-hour carryover limit120 hours of sick time accrued annually11 paid holidays per year (8-hour days)$7,500 annual CME allowance401k and 403b tax-deferred retirement plan optionsEligibility for full OSU retirement benefitsClinical faculty appointment through The Ohio State UniversityFull-time position dedicated to Blanchard Valley Health System in Findlay, OhioLifestyle Information:Just South of Lake Erie sits the bustling midsized city of Findlay - the second-largest city in Northwest Ohio.
