Job Title: Physician Assistant - Surgery - General

We are currently seeking an experienced Physician Assistant to support our Surgical Services team in delivering high-quality healthcare and improving patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide assistance in surgical procedures within assigned specialties, including Orthopedics, General Surgery, Urology, or ENT.
- Conduct diagnostic and therapeutic procedures as per scope of practice.
- Assist in room setup and turnover for surgical operations.
- Support the operative team as directed by the OR manager and charge nurses.
- Ensure adherence to proper sterile techniques during surgery.
- Maintain effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare staff.
- Participate in ongoing educational growth and Enhance patient care through collaboration.
- Uphold confidentiality standards and adhere to medical privileges as required.
- Maintain a strong commitment to customer service.
- Demonstrate the physical ability to meet the demands of the position, including lifting and assisting patients.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of work experience as a Physician Assistant in Orthopedics.
- Board Certified PA.
- Strong interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with a diverse team.
- Basic computer skills and the capability to work with electronic health records.
- Ability to think critically and act independently with minimal supervision.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Valid Oregon Physician Assistant license (or willingness to obtain).
- Board Certification as a Physician Assistant is essential.
- Candidate must have ties to Oregon, such as family in the area or previous residency.
