Job Opportunity: Thoracic Surgeon

Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and enhance the thoracic surgery program due to growing demand.
- Perform both inpatient and outpatient surgical procedures.
- Participate in a mix of surgical cases and outpatient visits.
- Engage in weekend call rotations as needed (1:4 ratio).
- Provide consultative hospital services.
- Work collaboratively with pulmonary/critical care colleagues and an established referral base.
- Document through the EPIC electronic medical record system.
- Lead and mentor within the thoracic surgery group, potentially in a Medical Director role.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible in Thoracic Surgery (within 2 years of eligibility).
- Fellowship-trained in Thoracic Surgery.
- Clean malpractice and license history.
- Ability to obtain an Ohio medical license.
- ACLS certification (or willingness to obtain).
- DEA certification (or ability to obtain).
License and Certification Requirements:
- Active Ohio medical license or a commitment to obtain one.
- ACLS certification required or willing to obtain.
- DEA needed or willing to apply for one.
