Locums - Colorado Springs, Colorado, Neuroendovascular Opening (IMLC Accepted) Clinical Role:

•  Open Dates:
•  August 4 (7a) - August 8 (7a)
•  August 15 (7a) - August 21 (7a)
•  All of October - December is open
•  Ongoing coverage will be 10-11 days per month
•  Provider must be available to cover the open August dates above
•  Schedule: 24-hour call shifts (7AM - 7AM)
•  Facility is preferably looking for a Neurosurgeon with endovascular capabilities
•  Provider must be able to do thrombectomies and clippings so they do not have to transfer the patient
•  Provider must be able to do Open Cerebrovascular and Neuroendovascular coverage
•  Heavy surgical emphasis
•  Will not accept a Neuro interventional radiologist
•  100% adult
•  50% trauma
•  100% inpatient
•  0-5 hospital-based patients per day
•  Support Staff: Dedicated CNS for the practice M-F Day shift. General Neurosurgery APPs are available at night for general questions from staff. New consults will be dealt by a call neuroendovascular surgeon
•  Must be comfortable with open endovascular procedures, but most procedures are done in the interventional/cath lab
•  EMR: Epic
•  90-day credentialing timeframe
•  Board Certified Neurological Surgery ABNS, NES - Required
•  Active CO license or IMLC - Required
•  ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), DEA - Required
•  COVID vaccinated - Required
