Locums - Colorado Springs, Colorado, Neurosurgery Job (IMLC Welcome.) Clinical Role:

•  Nov 24 (7a) - Dec 1 (7a)
•  Dec 22 (7a) - Jan 2 (7a)
•  ongoing dates are TBD, when schedules are released (Jan 2026, ongoing)
•  24-hour call (7a-7a)
•  7 shifts per month needed from all locums
•  Site will schedule providers a max of 7 consecutive days per stint
•  Setting: Call, Inpatient, Emergency Room Trauma Level I
•  FTE: 1.0
•  Required Procedures/Job Duties: Surgical traumas (Cranial and Spine)
•  EMR: EPIC
•  Support Staff: RN, MA
•  Reason for Coverage: A locum accepted another position and no longer available for April stint
•  Typical Cases: Neurosurgery cases and incoming traumas
•  Surgeons that Locums are supporting: The trauma team and two local neurosurgeons
•  No APP help
•  No endovascular requirement needed. We have a local provider
•  EMR Required Training:
•  Module (learn lessons) - Must be completed prior to virtual EMR training to attend the training.
•  EMR Virtual training - Only able to attend if Modules are completed before training. Provider will be required to complete Modules, EUPA test and PPL at least one week prior to their start date.
•  Board Certified Neurological Surgery - Required
•  Active CO License - Required or IMLC
•  Active DEA - Required (site will consider a transferred DEA, however, must keep this DEA for the duration of the assignment, not just for shifts worked.)
•  Candidate must be available for the April stint to be considered for the need - Required
