Support Worker

The school has a dedicated SEN unit within a mainstream educational setting, committed to providing exceptional support to students with special education needs. They are passionate about fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

We are looking to recruit experienced support workers to the school and candidates should have a proven track record in similar roles, demonstrating their ability to work effectively with children and young people with special educational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide tailored support to students with SEN, ensuring their individual needs are met
Collaborate with teachers and other staff to create an inclusive learning environment
Assist in the development and implementation of individualised education plans
Promote positive behaviour and emotional well-being among students
Maintain accurate records and reports on student progress
Essential Skills & Qualifications

Skills:

Previous experience in a similar role within an educational setting
Strong understanding of SEN and inclusive education practices
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
