Job Description: We are seeking a Food Runner who is passionate about enhancing the dining experience at MOLLIE's restaurant. We need someone to facilitate cooperation between our kitchen and wait staff. As a Food Runner the primary objective is to offer excellent customer service to our guests and contribute to enhancing their overall dining experience.

Pay Rate: $15/hr. plus tips.
Job Responsibilities: - Approach each shift with a positive attitude, a willingness to learn, and a ready to contribute to the team's overall goal.
- Proficiency in the property management system (currently MAESTRO) and related procedures.
- Deliver food orders from the kitchen to customers' tables rapidly and accurately.
- Act as the contact point between Front of the House and Back of the House staff.
- Ensure food is served in accordance with safety standards (e.g., proper temperature).
- Assist the wait staff with table setting by fetching and placing appropriate tableware, eating utensils, and napkins.
- Communicating with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders.
- Create and monitor processes to ensure ongoing guest experience improvement.
- Assisting servers with clearing and resetting tables as needed.
- Communicate food orders to chefs, paying attention to priorities and special requests (e.g., food allergies).
- Coordinating with the workforce in and out of the kitchen.
- Delivering food orders to tables in a timely and accurate manner.
- Remove dirty dishes and utensils as needed.
- Answer guests' questions about ingredients and menu items
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: - Excellent guest service and problem-resolution skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- Experience as a Food Expeditor similar entry-level role in a restaurant. Strong interpersonal skills.
- Understanding of hygiene and food safety rules
Education and Experience: - 2-3 years of hospitality management experience preferred.
- College degree preferred.
Physical Demands - The physical demands for this position are seeing, hearing, speaking, reaching, frequently lifting to 25 pounds, occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds, sitting, standing, for 4 to 8 hours, bending, and moving intermittently during working hours.
