Support Engineer II
5+ months of contract
Seattle WA - 5 days a week in office at first to be trained, then can work remote at home.
Pay range - $20 to $30/hr on w2 (depends on exp)

Job Description

This role is responsible for manually releasing mobile shopping apps. Key responsibilities include coordinating with teams for testing and approval, creating detailed release plans, and providing updates to developer teams.

Required Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of developer support experience
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working in a Linux environment
  • Troubleshooting and debugging experience in technical systems
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (preferred, but not required)
Business Need & Justification:
  • This role is critical for the manual release of mobile shopping apps until full automation is completed by Q3 2025.
  • Replacing an active contractor to ensure timely app releases.
Typical Day in the Role:
  • Release mobile shopping apps on iOS and Android
  • Work with developer teams to test and approve releases
  • Provide go/no-go decisions or coordinate issue resolution and further testing
  • Create and get approval for release plans
  • Upload apps to Apple and Google Play stores, ensuring accurate data entry (e.g., version numbers)
