The Position
Serve as SAP Supply Chain Management (SCM) Master Data Steward & Area Responsible Super User. Implement SAP SCM Projects for our West Lebanon, NH bioproduction facility. Provide technical support & leadership for SAP SCM.
This is an onsite based role Monday-Friday in West Lebanon, NH. Relocation assistance package is eligible for selected candidate.

Essential Functions
Trains, supports & coaches Supply Chain Planners, Material Planners, & Warehouse/Shipping personnel on SAP SCM & related workflowsProvides technical support & leadership for SAP SCM including establishing standards & requirements, evaluating & prioritizing upgrades, monitoring system performance/accuracy, troubleshooting & training super users and end usersProvides consultation on inter-site projects & is considered to be SAP Supply Chain Management (SAP SCM) Subject Matter Expert (SME) at API M2-US. Serves as local lead regarding the development & maintenance of all SAP SCM functionalityCreates transparency in the Supply Chain by developing metrics & monitoring systems to track, analyze & improve SAP SCM Master Data quality, Transaction Data timeliness & adherence to implementation timelinesEnsures that all SAP SCM & API M2-US Supply Chain work package project goals are accomplished according to project timelines & business goalsWorks with internal customers & project leaders to identify & prioritize SAP requirements & changesOptimizes the Supply Chain by reviewing analyzing & evaluating end user workflows to align current operating procedures & system functionalityInterprets Supply Chain Management-related data using a wide variety of techniques, ranging from simple aggregations & statistical analyses, to complex data mining & forecasting techniquesMentors & guides the work of Supply Chain Master Data MaintainersContributes to the design & development of SAP SCM User Specification Requirements to ensure the system is aligned with business processesCo-ordinates with the local MES project, OMP Leads as required to ensure that ERP, Planning, and MES systems are optimized & fit for purposeIdentifies SAP SCM system/process gaps & develops proposals for future requirements to mitigate themTests SAP SCM system updates & functional changes to ensure the system continues to meet business objectives & user requirementsSets deadlines/objectives & monitors progress for local SAP SCM Master Data development & maintenance in accordance with the API M2-US project requirementsAnalyzes & develops logistics workflow processes that improve production, distribution, communication, & inventory levelsProvides documentation, project updates & management reporting for all activities related to SAP SCMParticipates in ARSU (Area Responsible Super User) meetings & workshops; coordinates with Planning Excellence & Sales & Operations Planning groups in Site DenmarkSAP is the ERP System used by Novo Nordisk. SAP SCM is the SAP ECC module combination that refers to Planning, Purchasing & Warehouse/Shipping functionality. This role supports the ERP system throughout all three work areasRepresent supply chain on projects utilizing SAP master dataIncorporates the Novo Nordisk Way and 10 Essentials in all activities and interactions with othersPerforms all job duties and responsibilities in a compliant and ethical manner and in accordance with all applicable healthcare laws, regulations and industry codesOther duties as assignedQualifications
- Education and Certifications:
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management or technical/engineering field required
- APICS Certification CSCP or CPIM preferred
- SAP Certification a plus
Work Experience:Bachelor's Degree with five (5) years relevant work experience in supply chain management &/or production planning requiredThree (3) years of SAP experience (APO, ECC, & BW) requiredBiotechnology or pharmaceutical experience preferredKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Excellent verbal & written communication skills; good presentation skills preferredExcellent computer skills including experience with Excel, SAP APO, SAP ECC, & SAP BW systems requiredProven analytical & problem-solving skills requiredCompletion (or willingness to complete) cLEAN Basic, 1-Star, & 2-Star training & associated projects preferredExperience with SAP SCM/APO configuration & implementation requiredDemonstrated understanding of Supply Chain best practices & technologies preferredUnderstands APO & ECC Master Data elements requiredPresent results of analytical work forecasting, projecting & identifying process improvements needed to position the plant for success in the near future (1-3-year horizon) requiredDemonstrated experience developing tracking, analysis, & business tools used to drive improvement requiredProject Management experience requiredPhysical Requirements
Ability to work in an open office environment with the possibility of frequent distraction. Ability to travel up to 10% of the time. (% can change on a case-by-case basis based on the role.)
