Summary

Elevated Materials is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Supply Chain & Logistics Specialist to oversee critical supply chain functions across our production and R&D operations. This hands-on role encompasses shipping and receiving, inventory and material management, procurement, and supplier coordination. You'll play a key part in ensuring the seamless flow of materials and information within a fast-paced, high-growth environment. We're seeking someone with strong technical acumen, excellent cross-functional communication skills, and a passion for operational excellence. This is a full-time, onsite position based across our two locations in Santa Clara and Sunnyvale, five days a week.

Key Responsibilities

  • The Supply Chain & Logistics Specialist coordinates shipping and receiving operations, including preparing documentation, tracking shipments, and ensuring adherence to Dangerous Goods regulations. This role also manages inbound logistics, oversees HTS code alignment with Trade Compliance, and provides accurate receipt and storage of materials.
  • This position also maintains inventory integrity by conducting regular cycle counts and updating the ERP system while ensuring timely material flow to support production. Additionally, the Supply Chain & Logistics Specialist actively monitors inventory aging and enforce material handling standards.
  • Additionally, this role supports packaging operations by collaborating with external vendors and ensuring compliance with certification requirements. The Supply Chain & Logistics Specialist manages production and R&D purchasing activities on the procurement front - from order creation and vendor negotiations to delivery management and issue resolution. You will lead cost optimization through supplier benchmarking and contract renegotiations.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (Business Administration, Materials Management, Engineering) or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3-5+ years' experience in supply chain, logistics, project management, and/or facility operations.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems (NetSuite or SAP preferred) and Microsoft Office (Excel, SharePoint).
  • Strong understanding of shipping, packaging, material management, and trade compliance.
  • Experience operating or managing warehouse, shipping, or logistics facilities.
  • Excellent negotiation, organizational, and stakeholder communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt to shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.


Preferred Attributes

  • Experience handling Dangerous Goods (DG) and working within cleanroom protocols.
  • Background in operational improvement initiatives.
  • Strong focus on proactive supplier management and cost optimization.
  • Success for this role will likely require an earlier start time ( 8am PT) to facilitate collaboration between teams in the US and Germany.


Compensation & Benefits

The anticipated annual salary is $100,000 - $130,000 per year, based on the final candidate's qualifications and experience. The total rewards package will also include company equity and an annual discretionary bonus. Company benefits include:
