Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assists in supporting and leads certain aspects of supply chain, including, but not limited to pharmaceutical state license management, working with CMO's and supply chain business partners, purchase forecasting and planning, labeling and secondary packaging, inventory management, as well as domestic and global shipments.
  • Assist in managing supply chain activities including procurement (e.g. daily orders), importing and exporting product, planning and coordination of packaging, labeling, and distribution of products
  • Assist with new customer account setup
  • Assist with Supply Chain Data Analytics & Reporting and any ad hoc report requests
  • Support importing and exporting products, planning and coordination of packaging, labeling, and distribution of products (e.g. 3PL Management)
  • Perform daily order monitoring to ensure accuracy, timely processing and shipment
  • Perform daily deliveries tracking and orders management
  • Assist with pulling reports for cross-functional teams
  • Correspond with network pharmacy customers and NS Support to resolve any shipment problem
  • Maintain necessary pharmaceutical State Licenses
  • Assist in preparing production/purchasing forecasts, and support S&OP and other meetings with supply chain partners
  • Monitor supply chain partners to ensure proper service levels and optimize product availability Work with QA/QC to establish and/or revise internal SOPs for supply chain management related activities.
  • Liaise with Quality Assurance, Finance, and other departments
  • Analyze supply chain risk and assist in developing mitigation strategies
  • Support ongoing management of DSCSA/serialization systems and operations
  • Projects as assigned by Supervisor
  • Supply Chain Data Analytics & Reporting
  • Renew or apply for necessary pharmaceutical State Licenses for current and future products and officer changes

Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of pharmaceutical supply chain.
  • Familiarity and understanding of liaising business partners and vendors to ensure procurement operations.
  • Familiar with US supply chain operations.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Strong computer skills and proficient in MS application (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize.
  • Must be able to work effectively in a multi-cultural, global team environment as responsibilities include collaboration with internal and external partners

Education & Preferred Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Previous experience in commercial supply chain of pharmaceutical company for at least 3 years
  • Previous working experience with CMOs, licensing partners, and secondary packagers
  • Understanding of pharmaceutical distribution models preferred
  • Experience with cold-chain, ultra-cold chain, or cryogenic products preferred
