We are currently seeking a Supply Chain Analyst to join our manufacutring client in Richardson, TX. This position is responsible for item master data, reviewing & maintaining unit level forecasts and safety stocks in the planning system, monitoring forecast versus actual performance, and creating and managing supply chain reporting to support the Sales & Operations planning processes. This position works closely with purchasing, production planning, and sales & marketing personnel.
What Will You Do?

- Create processes and methods to gather supply chain data.
- Utilize various tools to extract, transform and analyze data from sources such as ERP systems, databases and spreadsheets.
- Review target inventory levels & safety stocks based on historical sales, market trends and sales force inputs.
- Create dashboards and reports to present analytical findings and metrics to internal stakeholders.
- Establish and lead monthly demand review meetings with sales and marketing.
- Analyze unit level sales forecast and recommend necessary adjustments, including identifying exceptional demands.
- Responsible for reporting forecast accuracy and tying out the unit level demand plan with the financial plans for the business.
- Analyze inventory levels and propose strategies to optimize stock levels and reduce costs.
- Collect and compile data for and participate in S&Op Supply meetings.
- Collaborate with internal and external IT professionals to maintain & improve effective material planning systems.
- Ensure data integrity on all planning & purchasing related item master data fields.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business Administration or related filed, required.
- American Production Inventory Control Society (APICS) Certification, a plus.
Experience:
- 2 - 4 years of experience in supply chain, demand planning, inventory management and forecasting within a manufacturing environment.
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:
- Working knowledge of relational databases and ERP systems (JDE and/or SO99+ preferred).
- Able to work within a team based environment.
- Experience in data mining, analysis and reporting.
- Familiarity with supply chain processes such as inventory planning and stocking strategies a plus.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite required (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, PowerBI).
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Attention to detail, critical thinking and problem solving aptitude.
- Strong analytical skills and proven ability to effectively research and summarize information in an effective manner and make recommendations based upon analysis.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills and be able to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Solid listening skills with ability to maintain focus, understand, extract and validate information within team and across the organization.
- Ability to successfully manage multiple priorities and respond quickly changing priorities within a fast-paced environment.
