Help Duties You will lead the development and execution of the Fleet Forces' civilian workforce development strategy to ensure alignment with mission priorities, workforce needs, and organizational goals. You will develop and evaluate subordinate employees' performance standards. You will collaborate with other agencies, commands, and external organizations to identify best practices, leverage resources, and share knowledge related to workforce development. You will oversee the budgeting and financial management of workforce development resources, ensuring funds are allocated efficiently to support training initiatives and professional development opportunities. You will maintain awareness of the latest trends in workplace learning and development, such as microlearning, e-learning, mobile learning, and artificial intelligence in HR systems. Experience in managing the collection and analysis of workforce development data to track training effectiveness, identify emerging skill needs, and provide actionable recommendations to senior leadership for continuous improvement.
Experience in directing workforce development policies and ensuring alignment with federal regulations, ensuring that all training and development programs were compliant with established guidelines and best practices.
Experience in spearheading the talent management process by identifying skills gaps, creating professional development plans, and aligning workforce training efforts with organizational objectives to support mission success.
Experience in overseeing the design, implementation, and evaluation of leadership development programs.
Experience in conducting workforce needs assessments and providing strategic recommendations to senior leadership, helping to shape the organization's talent management and professional development strategies.
Experience in leading cross-agency workforce development collaborations, facilitating partnerships to share best practices, resources, and training opportunities that enhanced overall workforce capabilities.
