Help Duties You will manage Fire and Emergency Services Programs to maintain a state of readiness for protecting life and property. You will analyze the structural condition of a building to determine firefighting equipment and apparatus required to fight fire. You will train firefighters on airfield, shipboard, structural, confined space, and hazardous materials firefighting procedures. You will analyze the environment (e.g., relationship between fuels, topography, wind, humidity) in the fire environment to ensure use of the correct firefighting apparatus. You will lead a crew of three or more firefighters assigned to staff a pumper, aerial ladder truck, or rescue vehicle in firefighting and rescue operations. You will brief senior leaders or other employees on matters on firefighting actives, personnel, and equipment. Help Requirements Conditions of Employment Must be a US Citizen. This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites.
