Summary You will serve as a Supervisory Administrative/Technical Specialist in the Integrated Product Support Branch (GXWW) of the Strategic Systems Hardware Division (GXW) of the Global Deterrence Defense Department (GX) of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER. This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The NT-05 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to the GS-13 and GS-14. Responsibilities You will serve as the Branch Manager of Integrated Product Support Branch. You will, in alignment with the Command Strategic Plan, develop strategic and vision for the Branch to support programs/policies and responsible for task execution. You will utilize internal controls, Human Resource Management, goal setting techniques and team-building to effectively manage and develop personnel in the Branch. You will ensure adherence to compliance areas such as Safety, Environmental, and Security. You will effectively communicate up, down, and across the chain of command, and with outside organizations, sponsors and business partners. You will enable subordinates to share in leadership and management of the organization by seeking their input before making decisions that affect them. You will be responsible for understanding the rules and regulations of the Government Purchase Card program, for ensuring proper purchase card use, and for taking prompt and effective administrative and disciplinary corrective actions when warranted. You will demonstrate the ability to work across organizational boundaries using collaborative delivering a shared outcome. You will be responsible for developing program logistics policy and guidance, integrated product/logistics support planning, initial provisioning, cataloging, inventory management, warehousing, and technical publications. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: analyzing and leading business administration processes to improve the quality, effectiveness, and efficiency of operations.
