  • The Retail Supervisor will be responsible for supervising retail employees and overseeing their work to ensure customer satisfaction including, managing daily operations and promote a positive customer experience. They are responsible for ensuring sales goals are met, training staff, scheduling employees, and handling customer complaints. The Retail Supervisor will monitor inventory levels, maintain store appearance, suggest improvements to increase sales, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. Duties and Responsibilities Responsible for Money Transfer and any other services such as: Check Cashing, Bill Payment, Money Orders, Top-Ups, and promotional offers Oversee and manage staff, including hiring and training for assigned stores Ensure assigned stores are clean, safe, and welcoming to customers Monitor and analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement and growth Implement sales strategies and promotional campaigns developed in collaboration with retail leadership Manage inventory of currency, foreign currency, and in-store credit limit for check chashing and money orders Create schedules for staff that ensure adequate coverage during peak business hours Address customer complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner Maintain accurate financial records and prepare regular reports for management Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations regarding safety, security, and customer service Assist in investigation of transactional errors and escalate as needed Maintain inventory of office supplies (thermal paper, ink, staples, stapler, paper, etc.) Support with store coverage as needed Responsible for the control and count of the store vault/smart safe As assigned, perform other duties and/or projects Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent Has a passion for customer service, and experience engaging customers in Spanish and English Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Customer service experience face to face. Experience handling cash, balancing a register Experience using a computer, phone, and other office equipment. Able to work in a team environment, as well as independently The ability to work a flexible schedule (e.g., weekends, holidays, extended working hours) and regular attendance are essential Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Highly organized with attention to detail Demonstrated leadership skills Ability to lead and work as part of a team and to communicate clear instructions The ability to effectively communicate with all departments that provide retail support Possess strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Reliable transportation and ability to travel between assigned stores Working Conditions Sedentary work in an office work environment Frequent use of computer software and relevant hardware Frequent face to face interaction with customers Individuals may need to stand or sit as needed Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that an employee must meet to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This position is predominantly sedentary. However, in some instances, you may be required to lift up to 15 pounds. Individuals may need to sit, stand, or bend as needed Manual skills are required to operate computers, telephones, etc.
Ria Money Transfer offers a competitive salary and benefits package. The reasonable estimated pay for this role ranges from ($22.00 USD/HR to $22.00 USD/HR). Actual compensation is based upon factors such as the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
