- Manage and monitor the performance of staff, ensuring they follow best practices and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Ensure efficient utilization of resources, including labor, equipment, and materials.
- Troubleshoot operational issues and implement corrective actions.
- Provide training to staff on operational processes and best practices
- Implement and enforce safety protocols, policies, and guidelines in line with regulatory standards
- Conduct safety audits and inspections to identify hazards and ensure compliance.
- Lead or assist in investigations of workplace accidents or near-misses, documenting findings and recommending improvements.
- Promote a culture of safety, offering safety training sessions and guidance to staff.
- Maintain up-to-date records of safety training, inspections, and certifications.
Technical / business-unit specific skills and knowledge
- Graduate Degree in Civil/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Mechanical Engineering with minimum experience of 3 years or Diploma in Civil/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Mechanical Engineering with minimum experience 5 years in execution of (public building/ railway infrastructure projects)
- At least 2 years' experience in SSE or equivalent Grade and above of Operating department of Railways and/or as Supervisor operations and above in Operating department in RITES/IRCON/RVNL or equivalent grade in Konkan Railway/MRVC/ DFCCIL/ any JVs or SPVs with Ministry of Railways, any Metro Rail Corporation either individually or combined
- Should have experience in railway / building projects
Education
B.Tech in Civil/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Mechanical Engineering or Diploma in Civil/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Mechanical Engineering Certification
