Overview

Help steward the financial operations of the Verizon team within Zenith the ROI Agency. Verizon is one of the top spending marketers in the U.S. The Supervisor, Finance Operations will help lead billing, budgeting and financial reporting, help to develop and implement on-going process improvements, and facilitate financial compliance. This role will support the primary Finance point of contact for the Verizon account and will report to the Director of Finance Operations.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee all media-related client billing, inclusive of traditional and digital media
  • Partner with Strategy and Investment teams to validate buy inputs in media billing systems (Mbox/Prisma)
  • Ensure timely and accurate client billing, certifying all necessary financial information
  • Conduct weekly & monthly financial reporting
  • Interact with sister agencies on billing / Accounts Receivable (AR) inquiries
  • Monitor accounts receivable and support team with vendor payment inquiries
  • Lead quarterly financial compliance training internally
  • Track progress, holding teams accountable for adhering to both internal and client timelines
  • Create and maintain account controls and efficiencies
  • Support financial audits and client billing inquiries
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of relevant experience (media agency experience highly preferred)
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Experience in a fast paced, client service environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel,(pivot tables, v-look ups)
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work in a fast-paced, client-driven environment
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Skilled in basic accounting principles/budget tracking
  • Financial background a plus
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication abilities for both internal and client interactions
  • Ability to forge strong working relationships across teams and titles
  • Must be able to manage multiple projects and deadlines, be proactive, detail oriented, and possess outstanding follow-through skills
  • Familiar with industry specific systems (Media Ocean, Prisma, Media Tools)
  • Knowledge of all media types; network (television and radio), local, print, out-of-home, direct and digital

Compensation Range: $59,850 - $90,620 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
