The Role As the Supervisor, SEO, reporting to the Director, SEO, you will lead the development and execution of SEO initiatives and manage client relationships on a day-to-day basis. The SEO Supervisor will be a pivotal member of the term, working closely with the Director & Associate Director, while supervising assigned SEO Associates.
This person will ensure SEO roadmaps are up to date, projects are completed on time, and Associate(s) have the support they need to succeed in their roles. The successful candidate will have a keen understanding of SEO, how to analyze website performance, and help ensure content on an e-commerce website is optimized for search.
About the role - Develop, implement and manage SEO campaigns and initiatives for an e-commerce client to help them achieve their organic search goals
- Build SEO workflows and roadmap processes to ensure timely completion of SEO deliverables
- Analyze search landscape to identify "quick wins" and longer-term opportunities for improving client organic search rankings, traffic and conversions
- Conduct technical site audits to address errors and identify technical improvements that will benefit SEO performance (load speed, core web vitals, Schema, canonical tags, etc.)
- Oversee on-site optimizations to ensure core site pages are optimized for target keywords in line with Google's best practices
- Leverage content gap analysis to identify new content opportunities that will help obtain organic rankings for a wider pool of industry keywords
- Manage monthly and quarterly SEO reporting: use your analytical skills to mine data for performance insights and strategic recommendations
- Collaborate with Paid Search team to align on campaigns and keyword territories, consult on cross-channel integration tactics for efficiencies and visibility improvement
- Maintain strong relationships with clients and technology partners, make SEO topics approachable to clients via both written and verbal communication
- Manage junior members of the SEO team to maximize their productivity, job satisfaction and professional growth
- Develop case studies and POVs, research new trends and technologies within the SEO space to educate clients and internal teams
- Knowledge and understanding of best practices for Generative Engine Optimization techniques and strategies

What we're looking for - 3+years of tactical and strategic experience in SEO either in-house or agency environments
- Possess a BS/BA in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Statistics or MIS/related technical degree
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills
- Comfortable working with leading Web Analytics and SEO tools
- Experience performing SEO audits and analyses using multiple data sources
- Experience with site migrations is a plus
- Technical experience with XML sitemaps, Robots.txt, site migrations and URL re-directs
- An understanding of content marketing and building HTML copy for e-commerce pages
- Great understanding of how SEO knowledge can work with other marketing teams such as paid search and social media
- Experience with LLMs and AI models is a plus
- Previous management experience is preferred

This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, other job-related qualifications/skills, and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living). The Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Compensation Range
$80,000-$90,000 USD
This role is hybrid, requiring three (3) days per week in the office. The remaining two (2) days may be worked remotely. Specific in-office days will be discussed during the interview process, with flexibility to align with team needs. Please note that the number or required in-office days may be adjusted over time, potentially increasing the number of required in-office days based on business needs.
