Supervisor

Are you someone who leads by example and has previous supervisory or management experience? Do you enjoy coaching and influencing others, along with sharing your risk management expertise?

In this position, you will guide and support a seasoned team of risk control experts to partner with our current and potential commercial insureds to develop strategies to mitigate risk. You will collaborate with Great West's leadership and underwriting teams and be instrumental in acquiring and retaining profitable accounts by evaluating risk and exposures to our larger customers

Join our distinguished risk control team as a Risk Control Supervisor in any of our five locations.

Key Responsibilities:

Coach, mentor, and develop a team of risk control representatives
Guide a team of six to eight risk control representatives to produce premier results
Develop innovative risk management approaches to benefit our insureds
Assist your team with on-site surveys of motor carrier operations
Use your expertise to prepare and analyze reports regarding findings of surveys, and design loss-prevention programs

We are looking for candidates who have:

Minimum of 7 years in a professional level risk management, loss control, or safety position, preferably with commercial fleet experience or insurance risk control experience.
Previous supervisory, leadership, or management experience with an emphasis on coaching, development, and training.
Solid risk management, customer service, and communication skills.
A bachelor's degree preferred
