Responsibilities:
Accountable for the provision of quality laboratory services in accordance with established goals. Accountable for planning and developing service areas, improving the quality of laboratory services, effective communication, staff development, budget support, fiscal control, interdepartmental relations and personnel management.
Qualifications:
Education
• Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology or in a Chemical, Physical, Biological or Clinical Laboratory Science required
Experience
• 3 years of supervisory experience preferred
• 5 years or more experience as a CLS in a Core Laboratory as a Technical Specialist or Point of Care department preferred
Licenses and Certifications
• CLS - State of California Clinical Laboratory Scientist License required
