Description

My client is seeking a highly skilled Superintendent with a proven track record in mixed commercial construction. This role requires strong field leadership, deep knowledge of construction processes, and the ability to manage fast-paced, high-volume job sites across multiple commercial sectors-including office, retail, hospitality, and light industrial.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day field operations on mixed commercial construction sites, ensuring all work is completed safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.

  • Coordinate and manage subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel to maintain workflow and meet project milestones.

  • Enforce safety protocols and site cleanliness, conducting regular inspections and ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations and company standards.

  • Collaborate with project managers and engineers to review drawings, resolve field issues, and maintain alignment with project scope.

  • Monitor scheduling and sequencing of work, proactively identifying and resolving potential delays or conflicts.

  • Serve as the on-site point of contact for clients, inspectors, and consultants, maintaining clear communication and a professional representation of the company.

Profile

Core qualifications include:

  • Strong understanding of building codes, OSHA regulations, and commercial construction standards

  • Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schedules, and project specifications

  • Experience with scheduling software (e.g., MS Project, Procore, Primavera)

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and conflict resolution skills

  • A track record of delivering projects on time, within scope, and under budget

  • OSHA 30 certification (or ability to obtain) preferred

  • Experience in the DFW market or similar metropolitan area is a plus
