Description
The Superintendent - NAVFAC/USACE Experience - Springfield, VA will be responsible for:
- Managing on site work and overseeing subcontractors
- Ensuring quality control by verifying that all work adheres to specifications, codes, and industry standards.
- Implementing safety protocols to enforce compliance with regulations and promote a safe working environment.
- Maintaining clear communication with stakeholders, addressing issues, and delivering regular progress updates.
- Overseeing materials and equipment management by monitoring inventory and ensuring the availability of necessary tools
- and materials.
- Maintaining documentation of completed tasks and tracking budgets for accountability.
- Supervising the commissioning process by overseeing system testing, troubleshooting, and handover to guarantee proper functionality
Profile
The Superintendent - NAVFAC/USACE Experience - Springfield, VA will have:
- At least 5 years of experience in construction, particularly with NAVFAC and USACE projects
- Comprehensive understanding of MEP systems, applicable codes, and industry standards.
- Relevant certifications such as OSHA and First Aid/CPR are required.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
- Demonstrated capability to swiftly identify problems and implement effective solutions.
- Experience in scheduling, budgeting, and coordinating extensive construction projects is also necessary
