Job Description

Key Responsibilities include:
  • Oversee and manage all aspects of construction projects from start to finish, including scheduling, budgeting, quality control, and safety.
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project goals and objectives are met.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets, and ensure timely and accurate reporting of project status.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable codes, regulations, and safety standards.
  • Manage subcontractors and vendors, and ensure all work is performed in accordance with project specifications and quality standards.
  • Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to ensure project objectives are achieved.
  • Ensure project documentation is accurate, complete, and up-to-date.
  • Manage and motivate project team members, and ensure effective communication and collaboration throughout the project.
  • Conduct regular site visits to ensure work is performed in accordance with project plans and specifications.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management or a related field
  • 7+ years of experience managing construction projects in the commercial, academic, and/or health care sectors
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to develop and manage schedules, budgets, and resources
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members
  • Knowledge of construction industry regulations, codes, and standards
  • Experience with construction software and project management tools
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
