We are seeking a dedicated Superintendent with a background in light industrial construction to oversee, manage and direct all aspects of a project from beginning to end. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction procedures, material and project management principles.

Description
- Direct and oversee construction projects from conception to completion while monitoring compliance with safety and building regulations.
- Coordinate subcontractors, architects, inspectors, and suppliers to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Review work progress on a daily basis and make adjustments as necessary to ensure project stays on schedule.
- Prepare internal and external reports regarding job status, daily progress, estimates, and deliverables.
- Negotiate terms of agreements, draft contracts and obtain necessary permits and licenses.
- Analyze, manage and mitigate risks on the project.
- Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.
- Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations.
Profile
- Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent in light industrial projects.
- Understanding of construction procedures, material and project management principles.
- Excellent knowledge of construction contract administration, including the understanding of technical and contractual aspects of construction projects.
- Ability to problem solve and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.
