Job location: Minneapolis, MN and various unanticipated job sites through Colorado),
Manage and control assigned projects, including directing field operations, site safety, productivity, schedule, work quality, project budgets, contracts and trade contractor and supplier coordination. Specifically, take personal responsibility for working safely within an incident and injury free (IIF) culture. Will manage on-site construction activities by understanding all the plans, specifications, and details for the project; and maintaining a complete set of updated construction drawings as a permanent record. Responsible for scheduling and procuring tools, equipment, and materials necessary for the project; ensuring all team members on the jobsite(s) have been trained on the tools and processes necessary to perform their jobs; and conduct weekly toolbox talks. Manage, review, and control all project schedules, cost codes, budgets, and production units for the project. Responsible for all site productivity and reporting. Ensure project quality based on APs quality management programs; create site-specific quality control plans; monitor compliance and performance. Develop site-specific safety plans; monitor compliance and performance. Collaborate with other departments through the pre-construction and planning phases by providing technical expertise throughout the pre-constructions and planning phases, reviewing the plans and specifications for constructability and constructions schedules, and advising the project team of issues or deficiencies. Prepare, manage, and update the detailed project schedule with sequence and activity duration including procurement items. Schedule and direct all inspections with city officials, government agencies, and private agencies. Provide leadership in team member attraction and retention initiatives, performance management, and team member development. Provide recommendations for staffing, compensation reviews, and performance goals. Help create and coordinate execution of career development plans for team members. Coach, mentor, and train team members. Ensure team members have the necessary resources and support. Resolve team member performance issues.

The position also requires experience (academic coursework is acceptable) with construction and project management systems and software such as Procore, PRIMAVERA P6, MS Project, Excel, AutoCAD, REVIT, NAVISWORKS, and Asta Scheduling. Experience (academic coursework is acceptable) with Building Information Modeling and Life Cycle Costing. OSHA 30 Certification required.
Masters degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field.
Offered salary range $99,486.00 to $136,000.00 per year. (See job description for more information.)
