Description
- Manage all on-site construction activities from start to completion
- Oversee and direct subcontractors and construction workers
- Ensure adherence to project plans, specifications, and timelines
- Maintain project safety and ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety regulations
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality of work, and compliance with building codes
- Coordinate with the project management team to ensure smooth communication and problem resolution
- Maintain project documentation, including daily logs and reports
- Provide leadership and direction to the on-site construction team
Profile
- Minimum of 7 years of experience as a Superintendent with experience in either healthcare or private school construction
- Strong understanding of construction processes, safety regulations, and building codes
- Ability to manage multiple aspects of a construction site and solve on-the-spot issues
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Proficient in interpreting blueprints, site plans, and project specifications
- Knowledge of project management software and scheduling tools is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
