Description
- Oversee and manage all field activities on ground-up construction projects, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and within budget.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, subcontractors, and field staff to maintain project schedules and address challenges.
- Implement and enforce all safety regulations and site protocols to ensure a safe work environment.
- Ensure that all construction activities are performed according to plans, specifications, and quality standards.
- Coordinate and schedule subcontractors, materials, and equipment delivery to meet project milestones.
- Conduct regular on-site meetings with project stakeholders, provide updates, and resolve any issues.
- Monitor job costs and assist in controlling budgets to prevent overruns.
- Maintain accurate daily reports, job logs, and records of project progress.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal building codes and regulations.
- Foster a culture of teamwork and collaboration on the job site.
Profile
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent in ground-up construction projects.
- Proven track record of successfully managing ground-up projects, preferably in commercial, retail, or multifamily sectors.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, building codes, and safety regulations.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
- Proficient in project management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, plans, and specifications.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- OSHA certification and other relevant safety training are a plus.
