Our client is a well-established construction firm in South Florida, specializing in high-end residential and commercial projects. Known for their commitment to quality and excellence, they are seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee and manage construction activities on-site, ensuring that all projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.

Description


  • Manage day-to-day on-site construction activities, ensuring that projects adhere to design specifications, timelines, and safety standards.
  • Lead and supervise subcontractors, laborers, and other site personnel to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality work.
  • Oversee site logistics, including material deliveries, equipment, and resources, ensuring efficient use of time and materials.
  • Monitor and enforce safety protocols, conducting regular site inspections and safety meetings to ensure compliance with OSHA and company standards.
  • Communicate regularly with Project Managers, architects, and engineers to address any design or construction issues.
  • Keep accurate daily logs and progress reports, ensuring timely communication of project updates to management.
  • Resolve on-site issues, such as scheduling conflicts, supply delays, or other operational challenges, to keep the project on track.


Profile


  • 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent in the construction industry, with a focus on residential or commercial projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and OSHA safety regulations.
  • Proven ability to manage teams, subcontractors, and site activities effectively.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach to managing day-to-day site operations.
  • Proficiency in construction management software such as Procore or similar tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and project documents.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work with multiple stakeholders.
