Summer Service Technician

Job Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Pest Control Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting buildings and premises for signs of pests, applying pesticides to eliminate pests, and advising clients on pest control methods. Duties: - Conduct inspections of infested sites to identify pests, their habitats, and breeding grounds - Determine the type of treatment needed to eliminate pests - Apply pesticides in and around buildings according to safety regulations - Set traps and seal openings to prevent further infestation - Advise clients on how to prevent future pest issues - Maintain accurate records of treatments provided Requirements: - Previous experience in pest control or a related field is preferred - Knowledge of various pests, their behaviors, and effective eradication methods - Ability to operate power tools, hand tools, and other equipment related to pest control - Strong communication skills to interact with clients and provide guidance on pest management - Valid driver's license with a clean driving record - Ability to drive to different locations for service calls - Physical ability to lift and carry equipment as needed Nice-to-have Skills: - Sales experience in promoting pest control services - Background in lawn care, farming, or landscaping - Familiarity with farm machinery for outdoor pest control operations Join our team as a Pest Control Technician and contribute to creating pest-free environments for our clients. Job Type: Full-time Summer position Pay: $36,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year (For full year employees) Compensation Package: Guaranteed Base pay or commission (higher of the two) Company vehicle and gas card Tips Schedule: Middle of May to Middle of August Monday to Friday Overtime Weekends as needed Work Location: In person
